Friends

I have finished reading Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters. I have also come to the conclusion that while I thoroughly enjoyed the book, I would probably try to strangle myself with my own bra if I were to attempt to read any of Jane Austen's unimproved works. I've been left with the impression that they would involve the most pointless, un-entertaining, and useless dribble. At least I was saved from that sort of thing by Sir John and his delightful quaintness, Colonel Brandon and his horribly disfigured face, and the likes of the adventures that happened inside of the Sub-Marine Station Beta that made reference to the Alteration. Also Margaret and her sharpened teeth.

Certain Gentlemen are trying to get in on this, at our own cost. No arrangements have been finalized, however. Hmmph!

So for Xmas we ended up just going to my family's get-together. It was awesome as usual :)

Ryan got tickets to see Anthony Bourdain from my parents and Frisky Dingo Season 1 from my sister and her family. We both got a new DVD shelf for the living room (it's pretty huge) and I got Dr Horrible from sis and fam. I got a new leathery pop-open waller with a skull wearing a bow, a $20 Caribou card, and a Lucid Absinthe fountain from my mom, A Zune from Ryan and a tattoo from my dad :)



I like that we got less things but they were all perfect and things that made everyone feel great. We also celebrated my mom's birthday (it's the 11th, so we usually just wait so we can all be together). If you haven't had the Coldstone cupcakes yet, go get them right now. They are as amazing as they sound. For sure!

We taught my niece and nephew how to play Magic. My niece kicked my ass first try. My deck sucks. We're going to take them to the Source this week to spend time with them and help them pick out some new cards with their Xmas moneys. Such awesome kids.

After the horrible storm died down we headed out and I actually managed to surprise Ryan with his gift. It was AWESOME! Also, totally what our relationship needed XD It was nice to get away and not have any obligations, even if it was just overnight. I'm pretty happy about that.

Yesterday I got my tattoo with my dad and brother. I'm super happy with it :) I was hesitant because of some drama involving the tattooist and some people I know, but I figure if I keep it business and let him know I want nothing to do with the drama it'll be fine. And it was. I love my friend and that's all that matters. It only came up because her tattoo artist came in, but it was immediately dropped. Thank goodness.

Anyway, I'm so in love with it. Sooooo in love. I just want summer to be over so I don't have to wear a coat and can show it off!

After that I dropped my dad back off at his house, grabbed my brother and went to pick Ryan up from work. We went to see Sherlock Holmes which I thought was win. I love RDJ and Jude Law, so it was fine just fine. Also, Rachel McAdams had some amazing dresses and jackets and the menswear was WIIIIINNNNNNN! I need to start sketching.

Tonight we're hanging out with Mitch and Angie. Tomorrow I'm getting a hair cut. Wednesday is Josie coffee time. Thursday is kidnapping the kids day and hopefully hanging out with Kel and KT80. Then that night is nerdy nerd non-party New Years time.

I need to work all day on an order and boxing stuff to send out. Also I'm starting a web-promo today. Tell your friends.

I'm tired.

And I have a headache.

And it's almost Xmas.

And I have like 13 packages to send out :P
